Call for Submissions MAGPS Newsletter

General Announcements
The General Announcements section of the MAGPS newsletter chronicles members’ awards/honors, achievements, professional accomplishments, and academic publications. This includes presentations being given at the upcoming AGPA Conference by MAGPS members.
Making an announcement in the newsletter is free. To have your announcements included in the upcoming Fall Newsletter, email your announcement to Sonia Kahn  at  by September 15, 2016. All submissions received after September 15 will be published in the Spring Newsletter.
Call for Articles
The MAGPS Newsletter is always more interesting when it reflects the creative minds, thoughts, feelings, and interests of our large and diverse community. We are looking for article ideas, art, poetry, short essays, and/or other ideas to be included in our newsletters.
For consideration in the upcoming Fall Newsletter, submit your ideas to Sonia Kahn at by September 15. All submissions received after this date will be considered for the Spring Newsletter.
Newsletter / Blog Advertising

Do you have a therapy/supervision/consultation group, job opening, space for lease, or other activity that you would like advertised? If so, please consider advertising with MAGPS!

Once payment is received in full, your ad will be posted on the MAGPS blog for six months, unless withdrawn by the advertiser.

To be included in the Fall Newsletter, your ad(s) and payment must be received by September 15th. All submissions received after this date will be posted on the MAGPS blog and included in the Spring Newsletter.

Ad Submissions


When completing the online payment process, use the text field to submit ad copy. Ads will be formatted to align with the Newsletter’s overall style.

Advertisers should provide additional design information via email (

Ad designs may be submitted using Adobe PDF or Microsoft Word files.


Images may be included in Half or Full Page advertisements. Inclusion of an image is optional.

To submit an image for publication, please send it via email ( When attaching your image to an email, use:

  • .gif or .jpeg files
  • images as close to the actual reproduction size as possible

Please be aware of copyright laws and do not use images from a website or word processing program that may be copyright protected. Files without high quality resolution will not be published.

You are solely responsible for the content you provide in your advertisement. Publication of your ad does not reflect MAGPS endorsement or approval.

The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject ads for any reason. If this should occur, you will be refunded in full.
