Ethical Dimensions of the Co-Therapy Relationship

Bill Roller, M.A, CGP, FAGPA and Vivian Nelson, M.A. will lead the conference in exploring ethical considerations in co-therapist led groups. Presentations and experiential groups will highlight the phases of development in the co-therapist relationship and issues such as competition or dependency that can arise.

Bill and his wife, Vivian Nelson, have been cotherapists for the past 35 years. They co-authored The Art of Co-therapy: How Therapists Work Together. They also have produced The Promise of Group Therapy, a video series about co-therapy teams in action.

The MAGPS weekend conference format combines lecture, large group, demonstration,
and interactive small group experiences into a unique learning experience. The goal is to provide an opportunity to integrate a deeper theoretical understanding of the conference theme into one’s own group leadership style and everyday clinical practice.

11 CE Credits for Counselors, Clinical Social Workers and Psychologists. All participants must attend, sign in/out each day, and complete an evaluation to receive certificates.
